Dream Dyke began in a sober space where two lesbians - Ruchika and Jayna - first connected. A spirited conversation about LGBT+ literature culminated in Jayna lending Ruchika an edition of Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto, a Japanese queer classic. From this exchange, friendship blossomed; both women being early in their recovery journeys and finding shared passions for fashion and witchcraft, they felt the red string of fate had brought them together for a reason. The two recognized their spiritual growth was intrinsically tied to accepting and loving all parts of themselves – and more importantly, helping others to love themselves as well. What started as personal healing quickly became a desire to build something bigger: a place that felt uplifting, safe, and unmistakably lesbian.

Dream Dyke is the result of that intention - a queer, female owned brand in Los Angeles where every design is created with purpose and a bit of magic. Our work celebrates lesbians, sapphics, and all queer beings who express their identity through what they wear.

Ruchika

Ruchika is a certified Dream Dyke currently residing in LA. She is passionate about literature, film, and of course, fashion. You can find her browsing the aisles of any local bookstore or at home, cuddling with her cat, Luna, and watching Sailor Moon. After graduating from NYU, she found herself wanting to create a business of her own through which she could channel her love for clothing and fully embrace her queerness. Dream Dyke has allowed for Ruchika to embody her authentic self as a high femme lesbian with a love for creative design. @ruchikabist

Jayna

Jaynais Dream Dyke’s resident witch. A collage artist with a BFA in photography, she finds inspiration in mythology, the esoteric, and the beauty of queer connection. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her girlfriend and their 2 dogs, Pierre and Arrow. You can find her rewatching The L Word or The Craft, hosting witchy dinner parties, or pulling tarot cards. Through Dream Dyke, Jayna channels her creativity and spirituality into wearable art that celebrates lesbian identity and the magic of self-expression. @thatvelvetwitch
